DRAGON :: Back
Created :: 2005
Time it took :: About 9 hours give or take half an hour. It took 4
sittings.
Notes :: This was to cover up an old dragon tattoo that I didn't
like very much. You can still see it slightly underneath if you look
closely in the picture.
I love this tattoo, I think it was really well
done and I'm so pleased I chose to get this rather than try to get
my old one looking better!
CHINESE SYMBOLS :: Right forearm
Created :: 2003
Time it took :: About 30 minutes.
Notes :: As simple as this tattoo is, it's probably my favorite next
to the dragon tattoo above. The top symbol means something
along the lines of spirit, but a Chinese guy told me it's more like
Karma. The second one means calmness and death - morbid
huh?! They both have pretty personal meanings to me and I
know I'd never regret having them. Oh and the marks on my arm
in the pic, are from a catsuit
SYMBOL :: Back of neck
Created :: 2001
Time it took :: About 20 minutes.
Notes :: This one looks wonky in the picture but it's just the way
I'm sitting! This doesn't really mean anything, it was just a
symbol that I liked, slightly inspired by the film Blade! A bit sad
I guess but I do love movies! This was also probably the most
uncomfortable to have done. I could feel the vibrations down my
spine and it wasn't very nice! Surprisingly the dragon one above
didn't hurt as much as this! Well maybe in a couple of places...
STONE DRAGONS :: Left shoulder blade
Created :: 1998
Time it took :: About 40 minutes.
Notes :: This is not one of my favorites! I liked the picture but I
don't think the tattoo was done very well and it faded fast! I'm
going to see if someone can fix this one up for me and make it
look better
BAND :: Left upper arm
Created :: 1997
Time it took :: About 45 minutes.
Notes :: This was the first tattoo I ever got and I was so nervous!
I really built it up in my head about how much it would hurt, but
as soon as it started, I realised I had nothing to worry about!
This one isn't something I'd pick to have done now, but I don't
mind it. If I ever find something that's not too big that I could
have over it, maybe I will!
